# Capacity tests

Compare measured site performance with expected production and download a report.

Source: https://docs.solesca.com/start/capacity-tests/

Open a project's capacity tests, or choose **Download › Capacity test** in the design editor.

## Set up a test

1. Select the expected production source: a Solesca design and model, or an uploaded PVsyst hourly report.
2. Upload measured site data. Use the provided template to check the required columns and units.
3. Review the uploaded file summaries and correct any errors.
4. Set the test period, **Pass mark**, and module settings, including bifaciality where applicable.
5. Review reporting conditions, data selection, and clock settings for the test.
6. Review any credit charge and click **Run test**.

Use settings appropriate to your project's test requirements. The report depends on the quality and coverage of both datasets.

## Review results

The results show the outcome, cautions, and how much data was used. Check these together before interpreting the result. A test with insufficient data may not produce a usable comparison.

Use **Open report** to view the full report in a new tab, or **Download report** to save its ZIP. Completed tests also appear with the project, where you can revisit the report and source files.

If you change the inputs or settings, review them before choosing **Run again**.
